| Nadine has been creating jewelry since 1982 when she
moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her knowledge of jewelry design was
augmented by a 1990 intensive study with the renowned Hopi silversmith,
Michael Kabote-Lomawyesa, at the School of Music and Arts in Idyllwild,
California.
An accomplished artist, Nadine received in 1974 a B.F.A., magna cum laude from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and has received numerous awards for her work. Extensive travel and study abroad added to her influences in a wide range of media, including painting, sculpting, weaving and silkscreen design. Nadine has recently
relocated her studio to Chapel Hill, NC after 14 years in California’s
Bay Area. In addition to private collections, SKYRIVERS JEWELRY
can be found in galleries and in select shops nationwide. |
